History
The Neidhardt Grundbau GmbH was founded on May 23rd 1984 by Hans-Joachim Kloss, Jürgen Brüggmann and Herbert Neidhardt and it was registered at the district court in Pinneberg on December 7th of the same year.
Operations began on January 1st 1985. In the first year, deep foundation works were conducted all over the country and the headquarters were moved from Pinneberg to Hamburg in order to accommodate the expansion of the firm. Since 1990 Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Neidhardt has been leading the company as the sole owner and CEO.
Strong demand and sales growth were accompanied by an increase in the number of full-time employees to more than 60 people to-date. Similarly, the specialised machine park grew in order to meet the highest technical standards. This positive trend led to the acquisition of numerous building projects abroad since the mid-1990s, including ones in The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, and even in Great Britain.
In order to enlarge our service spectrum in the geotechnical foundation engineering industry, we took over Ponel Bau GmbH in 2001, which specialises in building pit support, pressed and vibrated sheet piles, and Berlin supporting systems (www.ponel-bau.de).
